Punjab: Two men wanted in murder and Arms Act arrested from South Goa slum
PTC Web Desk: Two accused wanted by the Punjab Police in connection with murder and Arms Act cases were arrested from a South Goa slum, the Amritsar rural police said on Monday.
The Goa police's crime branch, in collaboration with a special unit of the Amritsar Rural police, arrested the suspects who had been hiding in a slum located in Zuarinagar, near Vasco town, on Sunday evening, according to a police spokesperson.
The suspects were identified as Samlval Gurunan Singh (22), a native of Amritsar, who was wanted in connection with four murder cases, and Amrit Kewal Singh (22) from Tarn Taran, who faced charges under the Arms Act. The cases against them had been registered at the Jadiala police station.
Further investigations are underway.
