While talking to PTC News, Shiv Sena Punjab National President Sanjeev Ghanauli said, “Our leader is not killed but a martyred. We are not calling for a bandh because in this regard we will hold a meeting tomorrow in Amritsar with all the Hindu organizations and after that we will decide when and how to hold the bandh”.

Expressing his concern about the law and order of Punjab, Ghanauli said that the law and order situation in Punjab has fallen flat. “A big leader has been shot dead. Khalistani leaders like Amritpal Singh are spoiling the peace of Punjab and are setting fire, trying to bring back 1984, which we will not let happen at all. We are not wearing bangles we know how to respond, how to use weapons …We can protect ourselves. Punjab government should crack down on such people who are spoiling the peace of Punjab”.
