Who is Giani Kuldeep Singh Gadgaj, interim Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib ?
PTC News Desk: In a significant development, Giani Raghbir Singh has been relived off his dutied as Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib following which Giani Kuldeep Singh Gadgaj has been appointed as interim Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib.
Giani Kuldeep Singh Gadgaj will now assume dual charge as he has also been appointed jathedar of Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib. The decision was taken unanimously during the executive meeting of Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee.
Baba Tek Singh Dhanaula has been appointed as Jathedar of takht Sri Damdama Sahib.
Who is Giani Kuldeep Singh Gadgaj ?
Gian Kuldeep Singh, son of Narinder Singh s a resident of village Jabbowal in Amritsar. He has completed his masters degree in History and received religious education from Sikh Missionary College.
Gian Kuldeep Singh, a Sikh preacher since 2001 has been appointed as interim Jathedar owing to his vast Gurmat experience. He has been serving as Kathavachak at Gurdwara Manji Sahib Diwan Hall, Sri Darbar Sahib Amritsar.
He has also been working effortlessly to provide education and shelter to poor and orphaned children.
