Punjab Assembly Winter Session: Punjab Vidhan Sabha passes 4 important bills
Punjab Vidhan Sabha on Friday unanimously passed the four important bills. The bills were moved by Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, Cabinet Ministers Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa , Balbir Singh Sidhu , Manpreet Singh Badal and Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa.

The details of the bills which have been passed includes reservation of 50 percent seats in Urban Local Bodies and Panchayati Raj institutions for women.

With the aim to boosting milk production and to ensure quality control of cattle feed, the Vidhan Sabha approved Punjab Regulation of Compounded Cattle-feed, Concentrates and Mineral Mixtures Act, 2018 bill.

Punjab Vidhan Sabha also approved Punjab Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Ordinance-2018.The bill was moved by Punjab Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal.

The Vidhan Sabha also give its nod to increase the regular parole given to prisoners with good conduct from 12 weeks to 16 weeks during a calendar year . Co Operation and Jails Minister , Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa had moved the bill in Vidhan Sabha on Friday.
