Punjab Congress president Navjot Singh Sidhu calls on Captain Amarinder Singh  

The rift in Punjab Congress seems to have ended as newly appointed Punjab Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu on Tuesday met Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh at his office. The media advisor to CM, Raveen Thukral, informed that "Punjab Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu and PPCC working presidents Kuljit Nagra, Sangat Singh Gilzian, Sukhwinder Singh Danny, and Pawan Goel call on Captain Amarinder Singh at his office." It was for the second time in nearly four months that both Sidhu and Singh met each other. The two leaders were not seen together in the past few months. On July 23, Navjot Sidhu took charge as Punjab Congress’ President in the presence of Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, marking the end of a bitter infight.
