Mohali, February 9: Shazia Ilmi, a founder member of the AAP, and currently spokesperson of the BJP, on Wednesday lashed out at party convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and described him as 'agent', who is charging money for allocating tickets for the Punjab Assembly elections 2022. Addressing mediapersons on Wednesday, Shazia Ilmi said she was relieved on quitting the party.  “All those who trusted Arvind Kejriwal initially felt cheated later. He betrayed the leaders and party workers and also deceived people. He is taking money for allotting party tickets for the Punjab Assembly elections 2022," she alleged. Shazia said Kejriwal’s bandwagon had promised state-of-the-art infrastructure in the health and education sector in Delhi, but the AAP-led government failed in providing the same in both the sectors. "I always considered Arvind Kejriwal as my brother. I am one of the founding members of the AAP, but he deceived me," she alleged. She that he (Kejriwal) was the same person, who once did not want security or bungalow. "But now he needs everything," she alleged. Lashing out at the Delhi CM, she alleged that "if he can stab Anna Hazare in the back,  what will he do with Bhagwant Mann, you can imagine".

Suspended AAP MLA Devendra Sherawat, who also joined the BJP, said ,"Esa koi nahin, jise isne thaga nahi (there is no one who has not been deceived by him (Kejriwal). He knows how to make money through unfair means. No Punjabi can ever tolerate him.  The Punjab Assembly elections 2022 are due on February 20 and the result will be declared on March 20.
