Punjab Police detained BJP workers from Mohali for distributing sweets following the Article 370 scrapping
Punjab Police on Monday has detained BJP workers from Mohali Phase 9, who were distributing sweets after the resolution moved by the Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Rajya Sabha to revoke Article 370, which is scrapped. Also, now Jammu and Kashmir have been made the Union Territory with Legislative Assembly, while Ladakh is also the Union Territory without Legislative Assembly. 
The BJP workers were celebrating this via distributing sweets and Ladoos, were later detained by the Punjab Police. Although Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has opposed the Article 370 scrapping, the Shiromani Akali Dal has supported the Central government seemingly, the welfare of Jammu and Kashmir residents. 
Earlier, Shiv Sena workers distributed sweets after resolution revoking Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir was moved by Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Rajya Sabha on Monday.

In fact, sweets were distributed by the Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray after the scrapping of Article 370. 
Amit Shah responding those who are opposing the Article 370 scrapping, said, "This is not the first time, Congress in 1952 and 1962 amended article 370 through a similar process. So instead of protesting please let me speak and have a discussion, all your doubts and misunderstandings will be cleared, I am ready to answer all your questions."
