Chandigarh, April 4: As part of a unique initiative taken by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab Police have started felicitating police personnel on their birthdays with greeting cards to make their special day a happy and memorable event. As many as 404 Punjab police officials were felicitated on their birthday on Monday. The district police, who celebrated the birthdays of their personnel by felicitating them with greeting cards are - Jalandhar and Amritsar Commissionerate Police, Batala Police, Bathinda Police, Ferozepur Police, Sangrur Police, Hoshiarpur Police, Faridkot Police, Sri Muktsar Sahib Police, Fatehgarh Sahib Police, Barnala Police, Kapurthala Police, Gurdaspur Police, Pathankot Police, Patiala Police, Malerkotla Police, SAS Nagar Police, Rupnagar Police, Jalandhar Rural Police, Ludhiana Rural Police, Khanna Police, Mansa Police, Moga Police, SBS Nagar Police, Sangrur Police and Amritsar Rural Police. 404 cops honoured on their b'day Some of the district police also brought bouquets and cakes for Police personnel to celebrate their special day. We also hope that you should perform your duty to serve the people with utmost dedication, hard work and honesty,” reads the greeting card jointly signed by the Chief Minister and the DGP Punjab.
