Punjab reports 62 new COVID-19 deaths, toll rises to 2,708
The total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has increased to 92,833 after 2,645 new cases of COVID-19 were reported from the state on Friday.
According to the media bulletin issued by the Punjab Health Department, the death toll in the state has increased to 2,708 after 62 new COVID-19 deaths were reported from the state on Friday.

Among the new COVID-19 deaths, Ludhiana reported 12 new deaths, Jalandhar reported 10, Hoshiarpur 7, SAS Nagar 6, Patiala 5, Amritsar 2, Barnala 2, Gurdaspur 2, Kapurthala 2, Muktsar 2, SBS Nagar 2, Sangrur 2, Tarn Taran 2, Bathinda 1, Faridkot 1, Fatehgarh Sahib 1, Moga 1, Pathankot 1, and Ropar 1.
The total number of recoveries has increased to 68,463 after a total of 2,645 coronavirus patients in Punjab were recovered in the last 24 hours.

Of new recoveries, Ludhiana reported 502 new recoveries, Jalandhar reported 174, Patiala 206, Amritsar 208, SAS Nagar 228, Gurdaspur 382, Bathinda 113, Hoshiarpur 100, Sangrur 31, Pathankot 49, Kapurthala 223, Faridkot 142, Moga 69, Muktsar 51, Fazilka 44, Fatehgarh Sahib 41, Barnala 13, Tarn Taran 64, and SBS Nagar 5.
Ludhiana reported 437 new cases of COVID-19 while Jalandhar reported 307, Patiala 219, Amritsar 401, SAS Nagar 312, Gurdaspur 131, Bathinda 105, Hoshiarpur 163, Sangrur 55, Ferozepur 57, Pathankot 119, Kapurthala 85, Faridkot 69, Moga 6, Muktsar 43, Barnala 43, Fazilka 73, Fatehgarh Sahib 32, Ropar 42, Tarn Taran 49, Mansa 42, and SBS Nagar 27.
