Punjab: Sacrilege bid at Sangrur’s gurdwara; suspect arrested
Sangur, August 24: Another attempt of Sacrilege was made in Sangur’s Gurdwara Gursagar Mastuana Sahib during the early morning hours of Wednesday . The incident happened at around 5:30 am in the Gurdwara Sahib, where the accused man went near Sri Guru Granth Sahib and started trying to desecrate it.

However, the attendants arrested the accused from the spot.
The cacused was allegedly trying to break the grill around Sri Guru Granth Sahib. So far, there are no whereabouts and information of the alleged culprit.
Meanwhile, the police has started to record the statement and shall initiate the probe.
Sikh Sevadars of Gurdwara Gursagar Mastuana Sahib said that they will not take any police action because many attempts have been made in the past, but the situation has not improved in any manner.
