R-Day Parade 2022: BSF all-women biker team puts up a thrilling show
The Border Security Force's (BSF) Seema Bhawani Motorcycle team put up a stunning spectacle, presenting a salutation to the President during the Republic Day parade on Rajpath in New Delhi.
Under the command of Inspector Himanshu Sirohi, the team performed a Border Women Salute. Single Kneeling was performed under the command of Sub Inspector Sonia Banwari, while Chair Riding was done under the command of Constable Anima Kumar. Fish riding was performed under the command of constable Pushpa.
The double back riding was performed under the command of constable Rajwinder Kaur with another rider, while the opposite direction side riding double was done under the command of constable Anupam Kumari with another rider.

The group also performed a ladder formation under the command of constable Sangeeta Kumari, as well as a five-woman balance under the command of constable Sumita Sikdar and four other riders.
The group then presented the crown position, under the command of constable Anita Rana and six other riders, as well as the bullfighting formation, which was performed under the command of constable Tulsi Rana and constable Sushma, and two other riders.
Abhinandan, Exercise Bar, Gulistan, Aerobic, and the Pyramid formations were also presented.
The Republic Day Parade 2022 displayed India's military prowess and cultural diversity, with several unique initiatives incorporated as part of the 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav' to commemorate the country's 75th year of independence.
In light of the current Covid-19 situation, special arrangements have been made. The number of audience seats has been significantly lowered, and people are being encouraged to register online in order to watch the live celebrations.
According to the Ministry of Defence, the Indian Air Force (IAF) will do a grand flypast with 75 aircraft or helicopters for the first time.
Every year, the Republic Day celebrations will now last a week, from January 23 to January 30. The celebrations will begin on January 23, the birth anniversary of great freedom fighter Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, and will end on January 30, Martyrs' Day.
