According to Accuweather, the forecast for Saturday is "cloudy, winds gradually subsiding and humid, with a thunderstorm in parts of the area." An hourly breakdown of the day shows that thunderstorms are likely between 6 and 8 a.m., with a 51% chance of precipitation throughout.
This could mean a delayed start to the match, which is set to begin at 10:30 a.m. local time. While the odds of rain decrease dramatically to roughly 30% with a 'cloudy' prediction, thunderstorms are still possible between 1 and 2 PM.
If rain plays spoilsport on Saturday, the match will be played on the reserve day allocated by the ICC on June 30.
With regard to the allocation of reserve days, the ICC playing conditions state "Every effort will be made to complete the match on the scheduled day with any necessary reduction in overs taking place and only if the minimum number of overs necessary to constitute a match cannot be bowled on the scheduled day will the match be completed on the reserve day".
