Chandigarh, October 20: The Indian cricket team has been on a relentless journey since the Asia Cup, followed by the ongoing World Cup in India, which commenced on October 5 and is scheduled to conclude on November 19.

The World Cup is an extensive and demanding endeavor, and the seven-day gap between matches against New Zealand on October 22 and England on October 29 will offer the players a brief respite. India's upcoming match against New Zealand is set to take place in Dharamsala on Sunday.

According to an anonymous source within the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the members of the Indian cricket team are likely to receive a short break following their World Cup clash against New Zealand. This break will provide them with the opportunity to spend some quality time with their families.

It is anticipated that the players will reconvene in Lucknow by October 26 in preparation for their upcoming match. In accordance with the customary routine, the full Indian team typically engages in practice sessions 48 hours prior to a match, while the day before the game, only reserve players are seen in action.

In the midst of these cricketing events, the International Cricket Council (ICC) shared remarkable images of the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium (HPCA) in Dharamshala. One captivating picture, taken during the Netherlands-South Africa match, depicted the stadium with majestic snow-clad mountains serving as a breathtaking backdrop.

"The breathtaking HPCA Stadium, Dharamsala," read the caption on the ICC's post. The images have showcased the stunning natural beauty of the Dharamsala cricket stadium, which continues to be a picturesque venue for international cricket matches.
