KKR's IPL win: The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) clinched their third Indian Premier League (IPL) title on Sunday evening in Chennai. The victory was a moment of sheer joy and celebration for their charismatic owner, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. The iconic actor wasted no time in descending the stairs to join his team on the field. One of the most heartwarming moments of the night was Shah Rukh Khan's heartfelt gesture towards Gautam Gambhir, KKR's mentor. In an emotional acknowledgment of Gambhir's immense contribution to the team's success, Shah Rukh kissed him on the forehead

As the winning runs were struck, Shah Rukh Khan, accompanied by his daughter Suhana and sons AbRam and Aryan, erupted in jubilation in the stands of the MA Chidambaram Stadium. Under Gautam Gambhir's mentorship, Shreyas Iyer became only the second KKR captain to lift the IPL trophy, following in the footsteps of Gambhir himself, who had led the team to victory in 2012 and 2014.

The atmosphere in the KKR camp was electric. Gautam Gambhir, in a rare show of exuberance, lifted Sunil Narine, who had an outstanding season and was named the Most Valuable Player with 488 runs and 17 wickets in 15 matches. The camaraderie and mutual respect between Gambhir and Narine, who had previously tasted victory together in 2012 and 2014, were palpable. Their smiles, captured by the TV cameras, told the story of a season marked by hard work, resilience, and ultimate triumph.

Shah Rukh Khan's interactions with his team were a highlight of the celebrations. He shared a warm hug with Mitchell Starc, KKR's costliest signing in the IPL auction history. Starc, who had taken five wickets in both the Qualifier and the final, played a vital role in dismantling SunRisers Hyderabad.

Head coach Chandrakant Pandit also received his share of accolades, with Shah Rukh embracing him warmly along the boundary rope.  Adding to the night’s magic, Shah Rukh Khan took a victory lap around the stadium, striking his trademark pose and blowing kisses to the fans who had gathered to celebrate with their beloved team. His presence was especially significant given his recent health scare. Just days after recovering from dehydration that had landed him in a hospital in Ahmedabad following KKR's Qualifier 1 win, Shah Rukh's return to cheer his team in the final was a moment of relief and joy for his fans.
