Another fan paid tribute to Rohit Sharma with a sign that proclaimed, "Cricket is my religion. Rohit Sharma is my god."
Led by the dynamic Rohit Sharma, the red-hot Team India is determined to extend its victorious streak in the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023, particularly as they play on their home turf in Pune today.
The much-anticipated showdown between India and Bangladesh marks the 17th match of the ongoing World Cup 2023, with a scheduled start time of 2:00 PM IST.
Enthusiastic fans gathered outside the MCA Stadium were unanimous in their belief that India's home advantage would propel them to triumph over Bangladesh.
One excited supporter exclaimed, "We are unwaveringly behind Team India. I am absolutely certain that India will emerge victorious against Bangladesh," in an interview with ANI.
A fan named Aakash confidently predicted, "Rohit Sharma is bound to achieve a century against Bangladesh. Rohit's current form is nothing short of phenomenal. Although he narrowly missed a century in the last match, he will undoubtedly score over 150 runs this time. I also have a hunch that Bumrah will secure a hat trick. I am firmly convinced that India will clinch the World Cup, especially given their formidable performance on home turf. Beating India on their home ground seems like a challenging task."
Team India, riding high on a wave of confidence, is poised to continue their winning streak, following previous victories against Australia, Afghanistan, and arch-rivals Pakistan. The Men in Blue have asserted their dominance in ODI matches, securing 31 victories in 40 encounters. In contrast, Bangladesh has claimed victory in 8 matches.
Of India's 31 victories against Bangladesh, three were achieved on home soil. Meanwhile, Bangladesh has enjoyed success in six matches on their own turf but is yet to secure a win in an away game.
