Sukhbir Singh Badal visits Baba Labh Singh Ji at Matka Chowk in Chandigarh
Farmers' Protest: Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal on Saturday visited Baba Labh Singh, who has been protesting at Matka Chowk, in Chandigarh.
Adverse weather conditions have not deterred Baba Labh Singh from continuing protest against farm laws at Matka Chowk in Chandigarh.

Sukhbir Singh Badal said that "Visiting Baba Labh Singh Ji at Matka chowk in Chandigarh was like paying homage to the very spirit of the Kisan Andolan. Babaji has braved everything to remain at the chowk for 5 months now."

"We must all learn from him. He is a true inspiration for selfless service," he added. Shiromani Akali Dal has been protesting against farm laws 2020 amidst the Monsoon Session of the Parliament.
On Friday, Sukhbir Badal, while protesting outside the Parliament, said that "SAD and BSP's only agenda is to get farm laws repealed and ensure redressal of farmers' grievances."
"We will carry on this fight inside and outside the Parliament. I appeal to all parties to join the farmers' cause. GoI should also approach farmers instead of making empty statements," he added.
