Amritsar Medical College authorities have made strict rules regarding dress code for boys and girls on Tuesday. A letter has been issued by the college authorities in which they have said that they have to come in proper dress code as per mentioned by the college.

The principal of the college said that students wearing western clothes are not only adopting foreign clothes from the outside but somewhere down the line; they are adopting foreign culture from the inside. They are forgetting their own culture and roots.

Girls were asked to wear either traditional suits or trousers-shirt to the college and boys were asked to wear only formal trousers and shirts during college hours.

The new dress code law will be enforced from October 1, 2018.
If any student found violating this rule, teachers are instructed to bring the student’s name, roll number to the principal.
