Punjab: Tragic road accident claims five lives in Moga
Moga, November 6: A devastating road accident occurred early Monday morning in the vicinity of Kakhahewala village in Moga, Punjab, where a car collided head-on with a truck, resulting in the tragic loss of five lives. The accident unfolded at approximately 3 am when the car's occupants were en route to Makhu in Ferozepur, originating from Moga and Ferozepur districts.
The car, bearing a Delhi number plate, was traveling from Moga to Amritsar near Kadewala village. Tragically, it collided with an oncoming truck loaded with bags, causing severe damage to the car and leading to the immediate demise of all five individuals within. Onlookers rushed one injured person to the hospital for medical attention.
Local authorities promptly responded to the scene, recovering the bodies from the car and transporting them to the Moga Hospital mortuary. An investigation is underway to determine the identities of the deceased and the circumstances surrounding this heart-wrenching incident.
