Apple slashes iPhone 15 prices ahead of iPhone 17 launch, available for under Rs 40,000 with offers!
PTC Web Desk: Apple has once again cut the prices of its iPhone 15 models as it gears up for the launch of the upcoming iPhone 17 series. In line with its tradition of discounting older models before introducing new ones, the tech giant has made the iPhone 15 more accessible for buyers across India.
Launched in 2023 at a starting price of Rs 79,900, the iPhone 15 had already received a price cut of Rs 10,000 last year, bringing the cost down to Rs 69,900. Now, fresh discounts across leading e-commerce platforms make the device even more affordable.
On Flipkart, the iPhone 15 is currently listed at Rs 64,900, a straight drop of Rs 5,000. Customers can further reduce the cost by availing bank offers. Meanwhile, Amazon is offering the biggest cut, with the smartphone now priced at Rs 59,900—Rs 20,000 less than the original launch price. With cashback offers of up to Rs 1,797, the effective price comes down to just Rs 58,103.
Additionally, both platforms are providing exchange deals. For instance, trading in an old smartphone valued at Rs 20,000 could bring the iPhone 15’s effective price below Rs 40,000, making it one of the best deals for Apple enthusiasts. Buyers can choose from five colour options: Black, Blue, Green, Pink, and Yellow.
The iPhone 15 sports a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with HDR10, Dolby Vision support, and up to 2000 nits peak brightness. It is powered by the A16 Bionic chip, coupled with 6GB RAM and storage variants up to 512GB. The phone houses a 3349mAh battery with wireless and reverse-wired charging support.
For cameras, it offers a 48MP primary lens and a 12MP ultrawide sensor on the rear, while the front packs a 12MP selfie camera.
With Apple expected to unveil the iPhone 17 series soon, the ongoing discounts make the iPhone 15 an appealing choice for users looking for premium Apple technology at a much lower price point.
