Viral video: A video doing rounds on social media captured safety mishap during water sports activity in Goa on Sunday. A tragedy was narrowly averted after a parasailing cable snapped while a tourist was mid-air. The tourist fell into the sea, but crew members of the boat were able to rescue him.

The video has garnered significant traction with netizens raising alarming concerns over safety of the tourists. One user said, "Poor rope quality. I think the equipment is not well-maintained. Multiple times, such incidents have happened in Goa, but no action is taken because there is no department to check equipment quality and maintenance."
