Manasvi Sharma recounted her journey, which began with a flight from Pune to Bengaluru, priced at a reasonable Rs 3,500. However, upon landing, she faced a hefty fare of around Rs 2,000 for an Uber ride to her home.
In Bengaluru, infamous for its traffic congestion and limited public transport options, reliance on private cab services like Ola and Uber is common. Ms. Sharma's experience highlighted the stark contrast between the affordable flight ticket and the disproportionately high cab fare for the relatively short distance from Kempegowda International Airport to the city center.
