Two Maoists gunned down by police forces in Encounter Two women Maoists were killed in an encounter with police forces in Gadchiroli in Maharashtra district. The battle broke out between the maosists and Police unit in Nihalkay forest area under Dhanora taluka around 8.30 AM. The police and Maoists exchanged fire for about half-an-hour.Later on bodies of two women Maoists were found from the spot.As per reports,the commandos were on an anti-Maoist operation in the area since Sunday. -PTC News
