Days after the Ministry of Home Affairs extended Unlock 5 guidelines till November 30, several restrictions will be lifted or relaxed from November 1 including increase in number of pilgrims for Mata Vaishno Devi yatra, resumption of home delivery of LPG cylinders, beach tourism in Kerala and reopening of Goa casinos. Here are the changes taking place from November 1: Increase in the number of pilgrims From November 1, 15,000 pilgrims will be allowed for Mata Vaishno Devi yatra per day. The Jammu and Kashmir administration has increased this number from 7,000 to 15,000 as a part of unlock 5 guidelines. The shrine reopened on August 16 after almost five months. The registration of the pilgrimage will continue to be done online in an order to avoid the crowd at the yatra registration counters. Resumption of online bookings for HSRP and colour-coded stickers The Delhi government will resume online booking for high-security registration plates and colour-coded stickers on a trial basis. Earlier, it was scheduled to re-open from November 15. As per the new Covid-19 guidelines, the tourists between the age of 11 to 64 would be allowed to enter the national parks. The Jungle Safari on vehicle is permitted with just four tourists excluding the driver and the guide. No tourist can walk during the jungle safari and the vehicle would be sanitized before and after the tour. Home delivery of LPG Cylinders As per the report, the Oil companies are all set to implement the Delivery Authentication Code (DAC) for the customers who want home delivery of LPG Cylinders. The customers, from November 1, will be required to furnish a one-time password (OTP) to get their LPG Cylinders at home. Liquor outlets timing to increase in Tamil Nadu The liquor outlets in Tamil Nadu will operate from 12 pm to 10 pm from November 1.
