Veteran actor Mrinal Mukherjee passes away at 74
Veteran film and television actor Mrinal Mukherjee passed away at a city hospital in Kolkata on Wednesday. He died at the age of 74.

Mrinal Mukherjee was suffering from cancer and liver problems. He was admitted to a hospital on Monday. He is survived by his daughter Jo Jo Mukherjee (singer), a second daughter Tina Mukherjee (model) and a son Debopriyo Mukherjee (actor).
Mrinal Mukherjee had worked for over five decades in the Bengali film industry and acted in films like 'Dui Bon', 'Chhuti', 'Shriman Prithviraj' and more recently 'Byomkesh' and 'Chiriakhana'.
