100th episode of Mann Ki Baat: Indian-origin women and Indian Diaspora celebrate historic show in New Zealand
PTC News Desk: On Sunday, thousands of people gathered at the Mahatma Gandhi Centre in Auckland, New Zealand, to be part of the 100th episode celebrations of the popular radio program 'Mann Ki Baat,' delivered by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. The event was organised by the NID Foundation and Indian High Commission at New Zealand.
The event showcased the role of women in modern India, a topic that Prime Minister Modi has always emphasised. A group of 100 Indian-origin women, led by 100-year-old Ramiben from Gujarat, took part in the special broadcast of 'Mann Ki Baat.' The contingent of women was part of the Indian Diaspora who had gathered in large numbers at the Mahatma Gandhi Centre in Auckland to witness the live broadcast of the historic 100th episode of Mann Ki Baat delivered by PM Modi.

The atmosphere at the event was electrifying and reverberated with the chants of 'Modi Hai Toh Mumkin Hai' and Bharat Mata Ki Jai by the women who participated in the event. High Commissioner of India to New Zealand Neeta Bhushan, and Honorary Consul of India, Bhav Dhillon, graced the occasion with their presence. Attendees also included the Chief Patron of the NID foundation Satnam Singh Sandhu and its founder Prof. Himani Sood.
Ramiben, who hails from Gujarat and is currently living in New Zealand with her family, is a regular listener of PM Modi's Mann Ki Baat. She was emotional while seeing the picture of PM Modi on-screen during the event and blessed him for continuing his efforts to lead India to new heights. She said "Sada Shukhi Raho" while expressing her gratitude towards PM Modi.
After the conclusion of the special broadcast, Ramiben said, "It is an honor to be a part of the historic 100th episode. PM Modi is the true son of the soil and a leader with strong determination. He has done a lot for the development of Gujarat as the Chief Minister of the state. And, now as the Prime Minister of India, he has been working with similar zeal for taking the country on the path of progress and development and realizing the vision of a Developed India by 2047 in Amrit Kaal."
The event in New Zealand was an excellent opportunity to bring together the Indian Diaspora and showcase the role of women in modern India. PM Modi's 'Mann Ki Baat' has been instrumental in connecting with people from all walks of life and sharing the vision of a prosperous India. The historic 100th episode of 'Mann Ki Baat' was an important milestone, and the presence of Indian Diaspora in New Zealand made it even more special.
