According to TAG TV, the Hindu diaspora asked the mayor to remove hateful banners against Hindus from around the city that read "Sikh Infants burnt alive by Hindu Mobs." Patrick Brown, Mayor of Brampton, was asked if he would remove the Khalistanis banners. "We love everyone," he answered.

Brown was shamed in front of four federal parliamentarians, three provincial parliamentarians, and two city councillors.  Liberal MP Chandra Arya urged the audience to remain calm, saying, "We do have strong differences, but Mr Brown is our guest in the temple."

According to TAG TV, Patrick Brown is an esteemed politician who promotes Hinduphobia and Indophobia.

As per TAG TV, Brown and other mayors have allowed government-funded auditoriums and arenas to continue the referendum in the name of free expression, but the Hindu diaspora is shocked that Canadian municipal, provincial, and federal governments could allow Khalistani ideology to flourish in the name of free expression after Canada's largest terrorism "Air India Bombing" in 1983 was associated with Khalistani ideology.

The diaspora also wonders how Canadian politicians and authorities would react if a Quebec referendum were held in India.

Not long ago, India requested that Canada halt the November 6 "Khalistan Referendums" by anti-India elements in Ontario. The Centre has asked the Canadian government to take action against those who incite terror and violence against the world's largest democracy.
