Pakistan blast: 28 killed, 150 injured in explosion at Peshawar mosque
Pakistan, January 30: At least 28 persons were killed and over 150 injured after an explosion inside a mosque in Pakistan's Peshawar on Monday. The blast took place in the mosque located in the Police Lines area of Peshawar during afternoon prayers.

As per sources, suicide attacker was in the front row of mosque and he exploded himself during the prayers.
Several people have been critically injured and were admitted to hospital. The particular area of the mosque has been completely sealed and only ambulances are being allowed to enter the locality.
Moreover, an emergency has been imposed in the locality and the area has been cordoned off.
In the meanwhile, Former PM of Pakistan strongly condemend the act and wrote, "Strongly condemn the terrorist suicide attack in police lines mosque Peshawar during prayers. My prayers & condolences go to victims families. It is imperative we improve our intelligence gathering & properly equip our police forces to combat the growing threat of terrorism."
Meanwhile, earlier also similar incident took place on January 22 as an explosion occurred near Pakistani police car within the proximity of Badaber Police Station in Peshawar.
However, no causalities took place.
