'Pakistan ready for..': Shehbaz Sharif's first reaction days after Pahalgam massacre

PTC News Desk: Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's first reaction comes days after the horrific Pahalgam massacre which claimed lives of 26 people including a Nepalese national.

The deadly terror attack has triggered a high-level diplomatic shutdown from the Indian government against Pakistan, which has been accused of harbouring the handlers and backers of this terrorist group.

While addressing a graduation ceremony, Pakistan PM said that his country is open to taking part in a "credible" investigation.

"Pakistan is open to participating in any neutral, transparent investigation... Peace is our preference. We shall never compromise on our integrity and security," the Pakistani Prime Minister said.

"The recent tragedy in Pahalgam is yet another example of this perpetual blame game, which must come to a grinding halt. Continuing with its role as a responsible country, Pakistan is open to participating in any neutral, transparent and credible investigation," he added further.

Pahalgam witnessed one of the deadliest terror attacks after terrorists linked with Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) gunned down 26 people in broad daylight after asking their allegiance with Islam.
