Pakistan train hijack: More than 150 passengers rescued, 27 terrorists killed
PTC News Desk: As militant group Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) continue to hold hostages after hijacking passenger train in Pakistan's Blochistan province, security personnel are conducting a rescue operation to save the captives.
As of Wednesday morning, at least 155 passengers have been rescued, while 27 terrorists were killed by security forces amid the ongoing operation.
Earlier on tuesday, the separatis militant group had hijacked Peshawar bound Jaffar Express from Quetta.
The BLA which seeks independence for Balochistan province claims to hols 214 hostages and had killed at least 30 security personnel. However the exact figure is yet to be confirmed by Pakistani authorities.
