PTC News Desk: Arshia Joshi, a 24-year-old Indian woman, tragically lost her life in a car accident in the state of Pennsylvania, USA. The Indian Consulate in New York has swiftly responded, pledging to provide all necessary assistance to expedite the repatriation of her mortal remains to India.

Expressing their deepest condolences, the Consulate General of India in New York tweeted on Sunday morning, mourning the untimely demise of Arshia Joshi, a promising young professional. The accident occurred on March 21, plunging her family and loved ones into profound grief. The Consulate assured that they were in close contact with Joshi's family and local community leaders, committed to facilitating the swift transportation of her mortal remains back to India.

The Consulate's tweet also tagged External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, the Union Ministry of External Affairs, the Indian Embassy in Washington D.C., and the Consular, Passport and Visa (CPV) Division, signaling a collaborative effort to address the situation.

According to a report by PTI news agency, Arshia Joshi had recently graduated, adding to the poignancy of her untimely passing.

In the wake of this tragedy, Team AID, a US-based volunteer organisation specialising in crisis assistance for people living abroad, has stepped forward to aid in repatriating Joshi's mortal remains to her family in Delhi, underscoring the global outreach of support during times of distress.
