2 youths shoot at policeman in Ludhiana
A policeman was shot at and injured by a youth near the main gate of Dayanand Medical College and Hospital (DMCH), Ludhiana here on Monday, police said. Two youths who were on a motorcycle were signalled to stop at a check post near the DMCH by constable Davinder Singh. They were also asked to produce papers pertaining to the vehicle following which an argument took place between the youths and the cop. Leaving their motorcycle on the scene, the two fled from the spot and when Singh chased them, one of the youths opened fire, the police said. Singh managed to arrest one of the two accused while the other escaped. -PTC news
