21 killed in coal mine accident in China
Twenty-one miners were killed and three got severely injured, after a roof collapsed at a coalmine in northern China-western China on Sunday.

As many as 87 miners were working underground in the mine at the time of incident. The rescuers safely evacuated 66 miners from the mine.

According to reports, the accident occurred around 6 pm on Saturday evening after the connecting segment of a mining skip broke which lead to deaths of 21 miners.

However, the cause of the accident at the site is under investigation.
