7 unemployed youths climb atop water tank in Punjab's Sangrur
Chandigarh, March 29: Seven unemployed members of the '2016 Police Recruitment Struggle Union' climbed atop a water tank in Punjab's Sangrur's on Tuesday.
The protesters have erected a tent on the main road near Haripura and are raising slogans against the Punjab Government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann
The unemployed members of the '2016 Police Recruitment Struggle Union' alleged that they had cleared all mandatory tests for the police recruitment in 2016, but their recruitment had not been done so far.

Accusing successive Punjab governments of befooling them, they have launched an indefinite protest in Punjab's Sangrur, the city of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.
The protesters said they would not end their protest and come down the water tank till the government issued them appointment letters.
