Ludhiana, July 19:  The police have arrested eight accused for the murder of a 14-year-old boy, identified as Sawan Kumar. Addressing a press conference, Ludhiana Police Commissioner Kaustubh Sharma said there was a clash between two groups at EWS Colony. Victim Sawan Kumar along with his brother Sumit visited the Civil Hospital for treatment, where some people arrived at the emergency ward of the hospital and attacked him, leading to his death. Brothers Sawan Kumar and Sumit reportedly had a fight with some youths in which both were injured. They were taken to the local Civil Hospital. However, armed youths arrived at the emergency ward of the hospital and smashed windowspanes and medical equipment. 8 arrested for killing 14-year-old boy in Punjab's Ludhiana Sumit claimed that the youths attacked Sawan Kumar with a sword and other sharp-edged weapons at the hospital, which led to his brother's death.
