Amid Pressure From NDA Allies, PM Modi Set To Visit Varanasi, Ghazipur

Amid growing pressure from the NDA allies, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Ghazipur and Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh today (December 29). These are two areas, where two NDA allies have a stronghold.

Narendra Modi will inaugurate 6th International Rice Research Institute and South Asia Regional Centre on the campus of National Seed Research and Training Centre in Varanasi.  This institute will serve as a heart for rice research and training for South Asians and SAARC countries.

This would be the first centre in eastern India that will play a vital role in sustaining major rice production in that region.

After inaugurating this, Prime Minister will attend One District, One Product Regional Summit at Deendayal Hastakala Sankul in Varanasi. This scheme will help the local people to enhance their skills and help them increase their reach for their trade, products and crafts items.

Prime Minister will also release a postal stamp on the Maharaja Suheldeo in Ghazipur. He will also address a public rally at the RTI ground.

On the other hand, the senior minister in the Yogi Adityanath government and Suheladev Bhartiya Samaj Party President, Om Prakash Rajbhar announced that he will not attend Prime Minister Narendra Modi programme.
