Anti-corruption activist Anna Hazare Tuesday ends his week long fast, after assurance from Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis on Lokpal , Lokayukta and agriculture pricings.

After ending fast, Anna Hazare said that he was satisfied with the promises made by govt on Lokpal, Lokayukta and agriculture pricings.

He added that , CM Devendra Fadnavis had assured him that , a new Lokayukta Act for Maharashtra would be passed by the time of the next Budget Session of the State Legislature . A joint drafting committee will prepare a new bill and the bill will be introduced in next session, he added.
