Bank holidays 2021: Banks to remain closed for 15 days in August, details inside
Bank holidays in August 2021: All banks including private and public will remain closed for 15 days in the month of August. These include second and fourth Saturdays, and Sundays, as per the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) notification.
So, if you have any bank-related work for the month of August, check the list of bank holidays in August 2021 and note it down for your reference.

As per the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) holiday calendar list, the banks will remain closed for 8 days in August while the remaining days are of weekends.

However, the banks will not be shut for all 8 days for all states as there are state-specific holidays.
The bank holidays fall under Holiday under Negotiable Instruments Act; Holiday under Negotiable Instruments Act and Real-Time Gross Settlement Holiday; and Banks’ Closing of Accounts.
