Bhai Dooj 2020: From history, shubh muhurat to puja vidhi, here's all you need to know

The nation is celebrating Bhai Dooj 2020. It is the festival which is observed during the Diwali festival in the entire Northern part of India. So what's the puja timing, shubh muhurat, puja vidhi and history of this Bhai Dooj.
- Get up early and take a bath. Wear fresh clothes.
- Make arrangements for the puja.
- Cover one of the chowkis in red cloth and place the idols of Shri Ganesha, Lord Vishnu and his consort, Lakshmi.
- Light a lamp facing south.
- Begin puja by invoking Lord Ganesha
- After completing the puja, offer flowers, Dakshina, and a sweet to Lord Ganesha.
- Offer prayers to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi.
- After prayers, ask your brother to sit on the other chowki facing north-west.
- Your brother has to cover his head.
- Apply a tika on your brother's forehead.
- Give coconut but without its shell to your brother, ask him to hold in his right hand. Tie the kalava around his wrist.
- Perform aarti, put akshat on your brother's forehead, and give him sweets to eat.
