Chandigarh: Nepalese Woman found hanging from tree in a park

A 33-year-old woman committed suicide by hanging herself from a tree in Sector 33 park, Chandigarh, here on Thursday. Meanwhile, no suicide note has been recovered from the spot. The deceased has been identified as Anu Budha, who hailed from Nepal and was living in Sector 45 with her two daughters and a son.

According to the sources, the woman had a tiff with her daughter which following which she decided to end her life. The people informed the police after they saw the body hanging from a tree in Sector 33 park. The police reached the spot and rushed her to the hospital, where she was declared brought dead. Later, the police sent her body for the post-mortem.

Meanwhile, no injury have been found the deceased body and exact cause would be ascertained after the report comes. The police reported that the deceased used to work as a domestic helper lived in Burail village with her three children. Meanwhile, the police have started the further investigation and a case has been registered under Section 174 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
