PSEB Class 8 results out: Girls outshine boys, yet again | Know how to check
PTC Web Desk: The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has announced the much-awaited Class 8 results for the year 2024, with girls once again emerging as the leading performers in academic excellence.
Harnoorpreet Kaur has clinched the top position, showcasing an exceptional achievement of 100%. Following closely behind, Gurleen Kaur secured the second position with an impressive score of 99.67%. Armandeep Singh has secured the third position with a notable score of 99.50%. The PSEB board achieved an overall pass percentage of 98.31 percent for Class 8.
Harnoorpreet Kaur belongs to Bathinda, Gurleen Kaur from Amritsar and Armandeep Singh is from Sangrur. This year, Pathankot district attained the highest pass percentage at 99.68 percent, while Moga had the lowest at 97.14 percent.
A total of 2,91,917 students appeared for the PSEB Punjab exam, out of which 2,86,987 successfully passed. Girls achieved a pass percentage of 98.83 percent, while boys recorded a pass percentage of 97.84 percent.
Harnoorpreet Kaur from Government Senior Secondary School, Bathinda, district topped the state with 100 percent marks. Gurleen Kaur from New Flowers Public Senior Secondary School, Amritsar, secured the second position in the state with 99.67 percent marks and Armandeep Singh from Government Elementary School, Ratoke, Sangrur, secured the third position in the state with 99.5 percent marks in the PSEB Class 8 exam.
