Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Saturday mourned the death of Indira Devi, the mother of senior Jalandhar-based journalist Ravinder Sharma.
Captain Amarinder extended his sympathies to Sharma of the Hind Samachar group. He prayed for the bereaved family. May God give them the strength to bear their loss, he said, in his condolence message.
Raveen Thukral, Media Advisor to CM, also expressed his heartfelt condolences to Ravinder Sharma and other family members in their hour of grief. The loss of a parent was a heart-wrenching experience and could not be compensated, he added.
