Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Davesh Moudgil, the Mayor of Chandigarh Municipal Corporation-

Davesh Moudgil becomes the mayor of Chandigarh Municipal Corporation after defeating Congress's Mayor candidate Devendra Singh Babla by 22 votes. Devesh Moudgil is a former MP and a close aide of leader Satya Pal Jain.

While Gurpreet Dhillon becomes the Senior Deputy Mayor and Vinod Aggarwal takes the position of Deputy Mayor for Chandigarh Municipal Corporation. 

Polling for mayoral elections of Chandigarh Municipal Corporation was held today. The counting of votes for mayoral elections results of Chandigarh Municipal Corporation was then concluded. The contest began between Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Davesh Moudgil and Congress mayoral candidate Devinder Singh Babla.
