Dangal actress, fondly known as 'Chotti Babita' Phogat, Suhani Bhatnagar dies at 19

Suhani Bhatnagar dies: Do you remember Suhani Bhatnagar known for her portrayal of the young Babita Phogat in Aamir Khan's acclaimed 2016 film "Dangal" with Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh in key roles? 

Dangal actress, fondly known as 'Chotti Babita' Phogat and known for her role in Dangal tragically passed away at the age of 19 on Saturday morning.

Suhani Bhatnagar's death was confirmed by Aamir Khan's production house. Taking to Instagram handle, Aamir Khan's production house posted a note which read, "We are deeply saddened to hear about our Suhani passing away. Our heartfelt condolences to her mother Poojaji, and the entire family. Such a talented young girl, such a team player, Dangal would have been incomplete without Suhani." The note ended with, "Suhani, you will always remain a star in our hearts May you rest in peace (sic)."

As per the media sources, Indian young actress had been battling illness for some time and was undergoing treatment at the All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS), New Delhi. 

According to a media report, she was hospitalised due to an adverse reaction to medication. She had been receiving treatment for fluid buildup in her body for some time prior to this incident.

Her final rites are scheduled to take place at the Ajronda crematorium in Sector 15, Faridabad.

Hailing from Haryana’s Faridabad, Suhani Bhatnagar was born on June 14, 2004 in a punjabi family and also won the star screen award for the best child actor for her role in Danga
