Four players of Punjabi origin in Canadian squad for Youth Olympic Games

Four promising Punjabi athletes, three boys and one girl, have been named in the 71-member squad of Canada for the Youth Olympic Games to be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from October 6 to 18.

While athlete Jasneet Nijjar from Surrey is the lone girl of Indian origin in the  Canadian contingent, three Punjabi hockey players - Amraaz Dillon, Arjun Hothi and Ganga Singh - are chosen to represent Canada 5s hockey team in the 3rd edition of the Games.
India has qualified in both boys and girls sections of Hockey 5s competition.
Ganga Singh is the lone representative from Ontario while the remaining three are from Surrey in British Columbia.
