'Godman' Rampal found guilty of murder in two separate cases

The self-styled godman, Rampal, was found guilty in two separate murder case.

Rampal was not taken out of prison. The verdict was given inside the makeshift court through video conferencing in the Hisar Central Jail.

Rampal was accused of murder in two separate cases. The first murder case was related to the death of a woman in the Satlok Ashram in 2006.

In the second case, four women and a child died in 2014, when thousands of followers of Rampal has clashed with Police personnel who had come to arrest Rampal.

Rampal founded the Satlok Ashram in Rohtak, Haryana. He became one of the most prominent leaders of Kabir Panth sect.
