Harjinder Singh Dhami likely to be SGPC president

Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami is likely to be the 46th president of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC). A general meeting of SGPC members will be held at Teja Singh Samundri Hall, Sri Harmandir Sahib Complex, Amritsar, at 1 pm on Monday.

During this meeting, the SGPC president, senior deputy president, junior deputy president, general secretary, and members of the SGPC Executive Committee will be elected.

According to sources, the SGPS is likely to get a new face this time. The current SGPC president is Bibi Jagir Kaur.

The name of Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami is being discussed for the post of President. It is pertinent to mention that Harjinder Singh Dhami is currently serving as SGPC's chief secretary.

Harjinder Singh Dhami is likely to be elected the next SGPC President. Dhami has been a member of the SGPC for the last 25 years.

The new president will nominate the senior vice president, junior vice president, general secretary, and members of the executive committee. If any member of the House raises an objection to a name, voting takes place for that position.
