IAF's Jaguar fighter jet hit by a bird; Pilot drops fuel tanks, lands safely at Ambala Air Base

In a major tragic incident, an Indian Air Force Jaguar pilot dropped fuel tanks of his aircraft after one engine of the fighter jet Jaguar failed after being hit by the bird, here on Thursday. Meanwhile, the pilot flying the Jaguar managed to land safely at the Ambala Air Base. As per reports, there were small practice bombs which were dropped by the pilot, which were later recovered. Likewise, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh claimed that the Indian Air Force has lost 33 Indian Aircraft so far including 19 fighter jets in crashes since 2015-2016.
