PTC News Desk: Prince Anand, the brother of popular Patna teacher Raushan Anand (Raushan Sir), has died under suspicious circumstances in Nepal. His death comes while Raushan Sir remains in jail in connection with a vandalism case in Patna.
Raushan Sir and educator Faisal Khan, popularly known as Khan Sir, have been at the centre of a long-running rivalry between their coaching institutes, Gyan Bindu GS Academy and Khan Global Studies. The dispute recently escalated, with incidents of vandalism and even firing reported at Khan Sir's academy earlier this month.
Following the violence, Raushan Sir was arrested, while Khan Sir received interim protection from coercive action.
According to reports, Prince Anand, who was also named as an accused in the vandalism case, had been staying in Nepal with at least six friends. He died late on Saturday night under suspicious circumstances. His family members are travelling to Nepal, and the exact cause of death is yet to be determined.
Sources said Prince had previously been accused of attacking Khan Sir's coaching centre in 2021, allegedly entering a classroom and engaging in violence.
Over the years, Khan Sir has repeatedly accused Raushan Sir of masterminding attacks on his institute, including bomb attacks and assaults on staff members, allegations that have fuelled the bitter feud between the two coaching groups.
