Parliament Security Breach: Sixth accused Mahesh Kumawat falls in Delhi Police net

Parliament Security Breach: Three days after the shocking incident of Parliament Security Breach was witnessed during Zero Hour in Lok Sabha on the 22nd anniversary of the Parliament terror attack when two intruders entered the Lok Sabha chamber from the visitor gallery, Delhi Police apprehended sixth accused in the security lapses incident. 

The sixth accused has been identified as Mahesh Kumawat, has been taken into custody by Delhi Police for allegedly helping the 'mastermind' Lalit Jha escape from Delhi.


Mahesh was also in constant contact with Neelam Devi, who was arrested for protesting outside the Parliament while their group members entered the Lok Sabha.


Who is Lalit Jha? 

Lalit Jha is the mastermind of the alleged central figure in the concerning security breach at Parliament surrendered before the Delhi Police. His surrender marked a crucial moment that led to his formal arrest, after which he was handed over to the custody of the Special Cell by the New Delhi District Police.

This development came after Lalit Jha, identified as a teacher from Kolkata, had managed to evade the authorities for nearly 48 hours before finally being apprehended in Delhi.


Alleged mastermind of Parliament security breach Lalit Jha revealed that he travelled by a bus to Nagaur in Rajasthan through Neemrana, where he was last seen. During his stay, he stayed at a local hotel accompanied by two friends. Upon realising that the police are actively searching for him, he decided to surrender before the police. 


Other accused arrested 

The accused behind the Parliament Security Breach has been identified as Amol Shinde, Neelam, Sagar and Manoranjan – all unemployed youths, belonging to the families of labourers, farmers or small shopkeepers. 

This incident has raised profound questions about the challenges and issues of youth such as unemployment and its potential impact on mental health, prompting a closer examination of the societal implications and the underlying causes that may lead to such distressing actions.

The shocking incident of Parliament Security Breach was witnessed during Zero Hour in Lok Sabha on the 22nd anniversary of the Parliament terror attack when two intruders - Sagar Sharma and Manoranjan D entered the Lok Sabha chamber from the visitor gallery. Simultaneously, Neelam Devi and Amol Shinde, unable to secure entry, staged a protest outside the Parliament premises, brandishing smoke canisters and vocalizing slogans before being apprehended.
