Now, STF will monitor NDPS cases
All the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) cases registered in Punjab will now be monitored by the Special Task Force (STF). Earlier, these cases were handled by the district police.
Mohammad Mustafa, chief, Special Task Force (STF) said, his Force was ready with a list of 62 persons who could be detained for a year under the NDPS Act. However, he refused to reveal the identity of these persons.
